5 Reasons To Check Out Disneyland’s Season of the Force

It’s currently Season of the Force at Disneyland, California. Star Wars fans can celebrate with special themed experiences, food, and merchandise. Here’s five reasons we love Season of the Force:
1. Hyperspace Mountain is one of the best things at the event. It’s Space Mountain skinned as a Rebel mission led by Blue Squadron to John Williams’ iconic Star Wars music. When the ride lands back at the loading platform, everyone is shouting and cheering. It’s like being in a Star Wars movie.

2. “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga” reimagines the myth of Anakin Skywalker as told across the Prequel and Original trilogies. The 12-min state-of-the-art projection show casts bold new artwork and imagery on to the two spires that rise above the Millennium Falcon. If you’re a fan of Disney Parks nighttime spectaculars, this show is worth checking out. It runs one or two nights so check the park app for times.

3. Out of this galaxy food and drink spices up the offerings in Tomorrowland and Galaxy’s Edge. We recommend the Loaded Outpost Fries and Blue Raspberry Slushy with the lightsaber swizzle stick at Galactic Grill and the Fried Falumpaset Cheese Skewer at Ronto Roasters.

4. Next level popcorn buckets. While the light up Death Star bucket seems to be fan-favorite. We’re partial to the Tauntaun bucket because it makes those growling sounds just like The Empire Strikes Back. Shame it doesn’t come with Luke Skywalker in its belly.

5. Speaking of the Original Trilogy’s hero, Luke Skywalker has finally made his way to Batuu. He wanders around Galaxy’s Edge and invites people to take a stroll. It’s hard not to fangirl if he shakes your hand. This is a character meet and greet you don’t want to miss.
